Very poor design. The sole is glued on and pieces keep on peeling off that I fix with superglue. The sole under the heel is very narrow and does not provide enough support.

These are very comfortable. I wear them without socks. I have a wide foot and the Tall Braid was too long and too narrow in a size 7. These fit perfectly. I seem to have "hot" feet and these are very warm, yet very cool at the same time. I will definitely buy more of these.
